Over 16 years ago, Ryan was thrown out of his home and wound up at the YMCA House at Queen and Spadina. Because the YMCA took him in when he had nowhere to go, he was able to get back on his feet and not only find a home but 1 year later had a job. Times have not been easy since, but because the Y was there for Ryan, he is now here for people who need him. Ryan recently dropped by the Y house and met Jordan who is clearly struggling. Ryan saw himself in Jordan and felt some hope knowing Jordan is now in good hands. With only a temporary job, Ryan made a $50.00 donation to ensure Jordan gets the same help he had. The YMCA Strong Kids program needs your help to help Jordan and others like him.
