| Jean-François discovered the YMCA in September
2008 when he joined the Y’s social integration program
designed to help intellectually handicap people integrate
into sports and community activities while being accompanied
by a volunteer. He put forth a lot of effort and
perseverance in order to achieve his personal autonomy.
Today, it’s his turn, as he now volunteers his time to
accompany another intellectually handicapped person.
Jean-François is proud of his progress and takes his role as
a mentor very seriously. His participation at the Y has
enabled him to develop his full potential. Congratulations
Jean-François!
