Christine is a young girl and ward of the Children’s Aid Society. Through much turmoil and many foster homes the YMCA remains her constant. She’s told us our Youth in School program keeps her going from week to week. It’s the one thing she can look forward to that keeps her feeling safe and secure. Over time, Christie has gained leadership and life skills that have helper her become a role model for others facing difficult times. She can give back because the YMCA believed in her.
