| Through a
gift of subsidy provided by the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign,
my daughters Emily and Nicole got to go to camp. With the
encouragement of Y staff my girls came to understand that
awesome people are out there who really enjoy spending time
with them.
As a result of the generosity of YMCA Strong Kids donors,
my girls have had an incredible summer – one they could
never have imagined. Emily has become more independent
and has come out of her shell; Nicole too has become
more independent and has fine tuned her social skills.
It’s heart-warming to see that their personal skills
have been developed through games and activities learned
at camp. They now play with their younger siblings and
cousins in such a caring manner.
Camp has been a turning point in their childhood and the
YMCA Strong Kids Campaign brought sunshine into our
lives. Please give to YMCA Strong Kids and make magic
happen for other children like mine.
